Interactive Public Art - Case Study
In the heart of Baltimore’s Remington neighborhood, you’ll find a bit of magic hidden in plain sight. Dawn of Bosatsu is an mural commissioned by local food hall R.House.
I collaborated with artists Will Shanklin & Harrison Crawford from Section 1 Creative and transformed their mural through development of an augmented reality app.

I designed the app UI in Adobe Illustrator and developed the app in Unity. The marker detection and augmented content placement was achieved with Vuforia. Animator Isaac Ewart created a companion video to play when the mural is viewed through the app.
